Liverpool are lining up a bid for Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, according to Bild reporter Christian Falk.
Speaking on the Bayern Insider podcast (quotes via Empire of the Kop), the German journalist said that the Reds are “ready to move” for the Dutch international.
While there are a few fans on X backing an offer for Gravenberch, most are not convinced that he would be a good addition to the squad:

I’m sick of Liverpool keeping tabs on people,he would be so underwhelming at this time π does Liverpool know when the season starts ?

Ready to move for him as a panic buy because they aren’t willing to pay for anyone actually good.

Another Lijnders Recommendation
It is very likely that assistant manager Pep Lijnders is the one pushing for Liverpool to recruit Gravenberch.
The Dutch coach was a big advocate of signing Cody Gakpo back in January and he may now have recommended a move for another of his fellow countryman.
Liverpool could have rivals for Gravenberch
Earlier this year, it was reported that both Arsenal and Manchester United were also interested in signing the 21-year-old, but it isn’t known whether they have retained their interest as we head towards the end of the summer transfer window.
If Bayern do make Gravenberch available for transfer in the coming weeks, though, the Reds may have plenty of competition from other teams for the player’s signature. Based on Falk’s remarks, it looks like the Merseysiders could test the waters soon with an offer so we will keep an eye on any further developments.
