Liverpool are considering making a move for PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn, according to reports in the Netherlands.
The 21-year-old, who is also a target for Manchester United, has been in superb form this season.
In all competitions, Bergwijn has scored 12 goals and provided 13 assists for PSV; a career-best since he made his senior debut back in 2014.
It is believed that PSV would expect a team to offer in excess of £30m; beating the amount they received from United for Memphis Depay in 2015.
Bergwijn is a speedy winger, equally comfortable playing on the right or left-hand side. He is also capable of playing through the middle if required.
His flexibility would certainly prove beneficial to Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who will need a replacement for Daniel Sturridge at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old is out of contract in the summer and is unlikely to be handed a new deal.
