‘Money Will Not Be The Overriding Factor’ Report Details Why Liverpool Do Have A Big Chance Of Signing Arsenal Player

Arsenal may find it “hard” to convince Bukayo Saka to sign a new contract if the Gunners miss out on the top four, according to the Daily Mail.

The 20-year-old has been linked with Liverpool and Manchester City in recent days but Arsenal are said to be keen on offering the winger a new contract to ward off interest from other teams.

However, the Mail claim that “money will not be the overriding factor” for Saka. The England international is keen on playing in the Champions League and gaining more experience at the highest level.

While he will be offered a substantial rise on his current £35,000 a week wages to make him one of the Gunners’ most well-paid players, the club’s qualification for Europe’s top competition will play a more important role in him deciding to remain at the Emirates.

Mikel Arteta’s side currently sit four points off fourth and, if they do fail in their quest for Champions League football, it could leave Liverpool with an opportunity to sign Saka.
