Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans remains available on a cut-price deal this summer and supporters are wondering why Liverpool haven’t made a move for the player.
The Belgian international has less than a year left on his contract, with reports in recent days suggesting that he could be sold for as little as €20m (£17m) before the transfer window shuts.
Considering the Reds desperately need to strengthen their options in midfield, following the injury to Naby Keita, fans on Twitter feel the Merseyside club are missing a trick by not considering a deal for Tielemans:
No brainer for me, can go both ways, prem proven, will want to impress to go the world cup…hinted in the past he wants to play under klopp, the club should act asap…leicester desprate for money

He's a player that, imo, works really well in our set up. I'm surprised we've not already made enquiries.

Last summer people were begging for us to sign him. I like this lad, but id only offer £15/17m. He can drive with the ball and he's got a shot on him

He outplayed us last season, even of we get 2 good seasons out of him, it's worth it.

Yes yes yes. He’s just what we need. We could probably get him for less as well

Tielemans’s situation is rather odd. He has been heavily linked with Arsenal but the Gunners have stopped short of making a bid for the 25-year-old. Other teams, such as Manchester United, have also steered clear of him.
There is a belief that his style of play wouldn’t be a good fit for Liverpool’s midfield so that could be a reason why Jurgen Klopp has decided against tabling an offer. With just a week to go before the transfer deadline, though, that stance could yet change.
