Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp did not mention midfielder Naby Keita during his pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Tottenham.
Early yesterday, it was reported that the Reds were checking on the fitness of the 25-year-old ahead of a possible return for the Spurs clash. However, it appears he won’t be available again.
Keita’s last appearance was against Crystal Palace in the 7-0 win at Selhurst Park before Christmas but an ankle problem has meant he has been forced to miss seven games. Fans on Twitter are now getting increasingly impatient with the Guinean international:
Jesus this lad has not managed 3 games in a row.

Just don't check on his fitness. Wouldn't be surprised if keita was secretly 37 years old. Constantly getting muscle injuries. Get rid in the summer.

It’s been two and a half years since Keita arrived at Anfield and his poor fitness record has meant he has only made 71 appearances during that time, scoring seven goals and contributing only four assists.
A decision may well have to be made on whether the club should cut their losses on the midfielder in the summer.
