Liverpool and Real Madrid are both interested in Lille striker Victor Osimhen, according to reports in the Spanish media.
It was previously claimed that the Reds and Chelsea were scouting the Nigerian international but it seems his performances this campaign have also attracted the attention of the La Liga giants.
Fans on Twitter have been debating whether Osimhen would be a good signing:
Only for the right price

If he knows what’s better for him… he better join now and receive good backing from his elders in Africa or continue to play for Lille and not play for any big team again

He is a talented player, but basically a less developed version of Origi …

Can fit squad

Liverpool did not replace Daniel Sturridge last summer with manager Jurgen Klopp hoping to give Rhian Brewster a more prominent role.
However, the 19-year-old has made just two senior appearances this season, ahead of today’s FA Cup tie against Everton, and it is expected that he will be loaned out so he can get more first-team experience.
With that being the case, Osimhen could be being eyed to strengthen the squad this month or perhaps next summer if Brewster is still not ready to play in the top flight.
