Barcelona attacking midfielder Phillipe Coutinho could be the subject of a €20m (£17m) bid from Leicester City, according to reports in the Catalan media.
The former Liverpool star was linked with a switch back to Anfield at the end of last month, while Arsenal have also been mentioned as a potential destination.
However, it appears Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on reuniting with Coutinho, after bringing the Brazilian international to the Premier League during his three-year spell as manager at Anfield.
Barca are said to be desperate to get the 29-year-old off the club’s wage bill, so a move away from the Camp Nou this summer does seem likely.
It may not be a permanent transfer, though, with it being claimed that a loan move may also be considered by Leicester so we shall see whether a concrete approach is made for Coutinho in the coming days and weeks.
