Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch could still make the switch to Liverpool this summer despite the Bundesliga club’s appointment of Thomas Tuchel, according to Sport1.
The arrival of the former Chelsea head coach means that the Dutchman is likely to be given a second chance, after failing to impress predecessor Julian Nagelsmann.
However, if Gravenberch is unable to make an impact under Tuchel, Sport1 claim it “remains a conceivable option” that the 20-year-old will leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season.
The German news outlet firmly believe that Liverpool “are interested” in the Netherlands international but any offer is now dependent on whether he features in Tuchel’s plans between now and May.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on strengthening his midfield options, and it seems as if Gravenberch is on his list of options, along with the likes of Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham and Brighton’s Moises Caicedo.
