Robertson And The Ox To Start, Thiago On The Bench: Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Face West Ham

Liverpool will be under no illusions about how tough it will be to overcome West Ham at the London Stadium tomorrow evening.

The Hammers are now a very well-drilled outfit under manager David Moyes and securing the three points won’t be easy.

Alisson will start in goal, but there could be a change at fullback, with Andy Robertson coming in to replace Kostas Tsimikas, despite the Greek international performing well against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night. Trent Alexander-Arnold will line up on the right flank.

Manager Jurgen Klopp is likely to keep faith with Joel Matip and Virgil van Dijk in the centre of defence and we could also see an unchanged midfield three from midweek.

Thiago is back available but Klopp hinted that he substituted Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain versus Atletico with the weekend in mind, indicating that the Englishman will keep his place. Captain Jordan Henderson and Fabinho are both expected to be in the starting lineup too.

The serious hamstring injury sustained by Roberto Firmino means the front three will likely consist of Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota and Mo Salah.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI To Play West Ham:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, Jota, Mane
