Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara has met up with ex-Reds star Philippe Coutinho as he takes some time off during the international break.
Both players have not been called up by their countries and the former teammates at Bayern Munich have taken the opportunity to catch up.
Unsurprisingly, some supporters on Twitter were calling on Thiago to bring Coutinho back with him to Liverpool:
Take him back with you to axa training ground ?

Reports in Spain over the summer suggested that Coutinho was very much open to a return to Anfield but the Reds had no interest in re-signing the Brazilian international.
A lot has happened since Coutinho left the Reds for Barcelona back in the 2018 January transfer window. As well as having turned 29 back in June, he has suffered a number of injuries in recent years, including a knee problem that kept him out for the second half of last season.
The Brazilian did, however, return to the bench for Barca’s 2-1 win over Getafe last weekend.
