Liverpool should have Darwin Nunez, Thiago Alcantara and Ibrahima Konate all back in contention for the game against Ajax on Wednesday, according to The Athletic‘s James Pearce.
The trio all missed the 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, but it seems that manager Jurgen Klopp will have some more reinforcements as the Reds look to secure their place in the Champions League knockout stages.
Supporters on Twitter are happy that the three players could return to face Ajax, although some are frustrated that none of them were available for the weekend:
Thank God at least I have hope now 🙏

Thiago has had an ear infection so it would be a surprise if he does start in Holland, but Nunez and Konate should be ready to play from the start following minor muscular injuries.
In terms of the rest of the squad, Naby Keita is back in training so there is a chance he’ll be on the bench against Ajax, and Joel Matip could be ready to return in a couple of weeks. However, Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota and Arthur Melo are ruled out until the World Cup.
