Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves could be available for as little as €25m (£21.5m), according to reports in the Spanish media.
Barcelona were said to be favourites to secure the Portuguese international’s signature but they are now favouring a move for Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante instead.
Liverpool have not been linked with Neves recently but, when asked if the Reds should pursue the player with his price tag being so low, fans on Twitter were mostly behind the idea:
That is a bargain

His creative rarely injured won’t command a massive wage think it’s a no brainer to go for him and sign a 60 million pine partner

I’m sure 40m in the past transfer window would’ve got him and would still have been a bargain

Neves will have eighteen months left on his contract in January so it’s likely that Wolves will reduce their valuation. However, £21.5m still seems a bit on the cheap side.
If the Midlands club are open to selling the 25-year-old, though, you can bet other Premier League teams will also be looking to snap him up. Arsenal and Manchester United have been heavily linked with Neves over the last eighteen months so they could complicate negotiations if Liverpool do decide to go after the midfielder.
