Liverpool have revived their interest in signing Anderlecht forward Jeremy Doku, according to reports in the Belgian media.
The Reds were linked with a move for the teenager back in April when it was claimed they were vying with AC Milan for the player, but at the time, it was thought that he would only be sold for a fee in the region of €20m (£18m).
However, since then, Anderlecht have run into more financial problems due to the ongoing global health crisis, and it is now believed they could sell up for €10m (£9m). It is thought that Liverpool would be willing to sign Doku now and loan him back for the rest of the season. Supporters on Twitter have been discussing the possible transfer:
That is very interesting, very interesting

This guy is very promising and would be a snip at anything under 15 mill

Very talented player, fast! And I think Moussa Diaby should be good option too for RW

If we’re losing Brewster potentially we might need this guy

Why can we not have 4 decent forwards? That is what we lack since years. Why loan him back? We need him nowwwww

Would be good signing for the future

Considering Liverpool need a backup for Sadio Mane now, it would be a surprise if the Reds were prepared to loan the 18-year-old back, but if they see it as an investment for the future, they may be open to such an arrangement.
