Liverpool striker Divock Origi is poised to sign a new contract with the club, according to ESPN UK.
The Reds are said to be confident that they have managed to persuade the Belgian international into staying put.
Fans on Twitter are getting a bit ahead of themselves even though Origi hasn’t yet officially signed on the dotted line:

Reports at the back end of last month also suggested that the 24-year-old was likely to sign a four-year contract extension.
However, it appears that Liverpool are now very confident that they have persuaded Origi to stay with the carrot of more first-team chances.
Roberto Firmino will return late to pre-season training following his exploits with Brazil at the Copa America, and it means that Origi will have his opportunities to shine over the coming months.
The Belgian is believed to be confident that he can take his chances and will opt to extend his deal at Anfield which currently expires next year.
