Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara could return to face Arsenal this weekend, according to reports in the local media.
The Spanish international has not played since picking up a hip injury in early February but it appears he is closing in on a return to full fitness.
While some fans on Twitter are delighted that Thiago could be back available for the Gunner games, others were less optimistic:

I honestly don't care. He needs to move on as well.

It’s highly unlikely that the Spaniard will be fit enough to start on Sunday after being on the treatment table for over two months.
The best that supporters can hope is probably a cameo off the pitch if, that is, Thiago is deemed ready to play by the club’s medical staff.
It should be pointed out that the 31-year-old’s last four league starts have seen the Reds lose three times and draw once, so he wouldn’t exactly solve any of the problems that Jurgen Klopp‘s side have been having anyway.
