Mo Salah Makes Statement That Will Delight All Liverpool Fans

Liverpool forward Mo Salah has said he has no intention of leaving the club. The 27-year-old has been linked with a move to Real Madrid following his superb form over the past two years at Anfield.

However, speaking in an interview with CNN, the Egyptian international expressed his love for the club, the fans and the city, and he doesn’t see himself being anywhere else:

“I’m happy at Liverpool. I’m happy in the city — I love the fans and they love me. I’m happy at the club.”

Considering the departures of Luis Suarez, Raheem Sterling and Philippe Coutinho in recent years, there is always a slight concern among supporters that the club’s top stars could look to leave.

Liverpool are now, though, at a completely different level to when those players left Anfield. Under Jurgen Klopp, they have made two consecutive Champions League finals, becoming European champions in the process.

They are also challenging Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, and with a young squad, they are set to compete for more trophies in the next few seasons.
