“No Chance, No Chance…” Campbell Makes Transfer Claim Following Liverpool’s Interest In Arsenal Ace

Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka won’t be leaving the Emirates this summer, according to Kevin Campbell.

Saka has been linked with both Liverpool and Manchester City in recent months, with the England international currently in discussions over a new contract. So far, an extension has not materialised and, when asked whether the Gunners may have to consider selling if a deal can’t be reached, Campbell replied:

“He is already under contract. These things are not just going to get done in a couple of months. These things could take six months, but Arsenal are not, trust me, they are not going to sell Saka in this window. No chance. No chance.”

Saka has two years remaining on his contract so there is no rush in terms of getting an agreement, but Liverpool will still be looking on with interest. The 20-year-old is one of the lowest-paid first-team players at Arsenal so a significant salary increase is warranted.

The question is: how much will Saka and his representatives demand? It’s likely that the winger’s first preference would be to stay at his boyhood club but, if negotiations over a new deal do drag on, there will be increasing uncertainty over the player’s future.
