Report Claims ‘Disgruntled’ Chelsea Ace Would Be ‘Open’ To Liverpool Switch But Reds Must Stump Up 58M

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is likely to be “open” to a move to Liverpool if the Reds make a concerted effort to sign him, according to the Daily Star.

The English tabloid claims that the American international is “disgruntled” at Stamford Bridge, feeling that he hasn’t been afforded the game time he needs in his preferred position.

It is believed that the Reds could be a better fit for Pulisic, with the Merseyside club’s more aggressive and direct style of play well suited to the 23-year-old’s attributes.

Chelsea are, though, unlikely to hand him over on a plate. The Daily Star believe that there is “little chance” of the Blues selling him for less than the £58m they paid Borussia Dortmund for the winger three years ago.

Liverpool are keen on recruiting a replacement for Sadio Mane and, with Jurgen Klopp having expressed his admiration for Pulisic in the past, the media have been putting two and two together. We shall see if there is actually any substance to these stories.
