Tottenham are the latest club to register an interest in signing Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster on loan, according to the Football Insider.

The website claims that Spurs are aware that they are unlikely to be favourites to sign the 20-year-old, but they are keen to add competition to their strikeforce and provide support for Harry Kane.

Jose Mourinho’s side are playing in the Europa League next season, and it means the London club will have a packed fixture list, which will lend itself to Brewster getting more chances to start.

However, Liverpool are very mindful of the England Under 21 international’s development and would like him to move to a team where he will be a regular starter.

The Reds are not short of offers for Brewster with six other Premier League clubs interested in taking him on loan, including the likes of Aston Villa, Brighton, Burnley, Crystal Palace, Newcastle and Fulham. There are also three teams from the Championship on his tail.
