Liverpool trio Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Cody Gakpo all suffered injuries during the 4-3 defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup at the weekend.
Nunez picked up a hamstring problem, Diaz has a groin issue while Gakpo sustained an ankle injury at Old Trafford.
Fans on X are rather concerned about whether the three will be back available for selection after the international break:
This is scary right now

Are we capable of playing a game without someone getting injured?

Nunez’s injury is not believed to be serious
Alarm bells began to ring when it was confirmed that the striker had withdrawn from Uruguay’s squad for their fixtures against the Basque Country and the Ivory Coast.
However, it is thought that Nunez will stay on Merseyside as a precaution. He had some issues in the build-up to the United game and he will use the international break to ensure he is back to 100%.
Liverpool’s injury list is in double figures
The Reds have a fair few players on the treatment table at the moment, with 11 sidelined in total, but it is hoped that a number of them will be back to take on Brighton and Sheffield United in their next two fixtures.
Ibrahima Konate is closing in on his comeback from a thigh injury, while the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota and Stefan Bajcetic are also nearing their return.
With the battle with Arsenal and Manchester City for the Premier League title heating up, manager Jurgen Klopp will be keen to have as many back available as soon as possible.
