New 83M Price Tag Could Scupper Liverpool’s Plans To Sign Brazilian Wonderkid

Palmeiras forward Endrick could sign a new contract this summer which includes a €100m (£83m) release clause, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The 15-year-old has been linked with a host of top European teams, including Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United with the hope being that he will sign with them on pre-contract agreement when he turns 16.

However, Palmeiras are also able to offer Endrick a professional deal at the same time, and it is believed that the teenager could well put pen to paper to remain in Brazil.

If that does happen, it will almost certainly put off the likes of Liverpool from trying to snap up the striker. Although Palmeiras are unlikely to hold out for the full £83m, they would be in a very strong position when it comes to negotiations.

With Endrick having also revealed that he is a fan of Real Madrid in recent days, it does seem as though the Reds would also have to persuade the player into making the switch to Anfield. This transfer looks very unlikely to happen at this stage.
